Last week, Karen and I went to The JCB Club to watch LIV Golf for the first time. After watching many events on tv I was aware the experience would be different from a normal Tour event, and it certainly was different.
Only 54 players compete and all at the same time due to shotgun starts, making viewing rather difficult, however the atmosphere was extraordinary with music playing and announcements over the tannoy system. There was a special 'party hole' with walk on songs for each player, pyrotechnics, a lot of beer flowing and a lot of noise.
We had a fantastic time, it was a great experience, but we wouldn't race back due to the difficulty in seeing the actual shots.
